How can I book a camper?

You can book a camper through our website or by emailing info@petroni.hr.

What documentation is required when picking up the reserved camper?

Upon vehicle pickup, you will need a valid personal identification document (passport/national ID card), driver’s license of category B, and a credit card (for deposit). The driver must be at least 25 years old.

What is the cancellation policy?

Our cancellation policy varies depending on the type of reservation and the notice period for cancellation. The details are outlined in our vehicle rental terms and conditions.

Can I travel abroad with a rented camper?

Yes, traveling abroad is usually possible, but check with our staff about possible restrictions and additional costs.

What is included in the rental price?

24/7 telephone assistance, mandatory third-party liability insurance, comprehensive vehicle insurance (with the lessee’s deductible matching the security deposit amount), passenger insurance, toilet chemicals, one gas bottle, a full tank of clean water, an empty tank for wastewater, a clean toilet cassette, a radio device, a water hose, a power cable + power adapter, and vehicle leveling blocks. The mileage is limited to 250 km per day.

Are there any hidden costs?

No, all costs listed in your offer/confirmation are final. We believe in transparency and want you to clearly understand what you will be paying. There are no additional fees or hidden costs unless you change your reservation.
. However, it is important to note that we have some specific exclusions that we would like to draw attention to.

Exclusions:
Accidents and damages
Although we strive to provide you with a worry-free experience, accidents can happen. In the event of any external damage to the vehicle (on the superstructure and chassis), caused by the lessee or an unknown perpetrator, the security deposit will not be refunded until the vehicle is repaired, or until a written statement is obtained from the insurance company.
The lessor may lose a certain amount of bonus until the return to the previous bonus level, and the insurance will not have subsequent claims from third parties regarding the damage caused by the lessee. The lessee is responsible for repairing any damage caused by an unknown perpetrator up to the amount of the security deposit.

Fuel and toll charges: Please note that fuel and toll expenses are the responsibility of the passengers and are not included in the quoted price.

Low fuel: If the vehicle is returned with less fuel than at the time of rental, the renter will be charged for the missing fuel, plus a service fee according to the fueling rate.

Extra kilometers: If you exceed the included kilometers in your reservation (250 kilometers), you will be charged per additional kilometer. Extra kilometer is charged at €0.30/km.

Can I pick up the camper at one location and return it to another?

Of course! You can end the rental at a different location than where you started. Please note that an additional transfer fee applies if you choose different pick-up and drop-off locations.

Do you offer camper transfers to the airport?

Of course! We offer camper transfers to multiple locations (airports).
Croatia: Zagreb, Rijeka – Krk, Zadar, Split, Dubrovnik, Pula; Slovenia: Ljubljana;
Hungary: Budapest
Austria, Vienna

When booking a camper, I have an additional charge called “preparation fee”.platu “trošak pripreme”. What does that mean?

The item “preparation cost” covers all the vehicle preparation expenses for pickup, including:

  • Complete camper cleaning
  • Toilet cassette chemicals
  • Full tank of clean water
  • 1x full gas cylinder
  • 1x cleaning set
  • AdBlue

Also, upon vehicle pickup, our staff will provide you with detailed instructions on how to use the camper to facilitate your journey.

Can I rent a camper for 2 days?

In the mid-season (1.1.-9.6 // 26.8.-31.12.), the minimum number of rental days is 6.
In the high season (10.6.-25.8.), the minimum number of days is 11.

Do I pay a deposit when picking up the vehicle?

Yes. A deposit is paid when picking up the vehicle. The deposit can only be paid with a credit card. The deposit is held during the trip and may be deducted up to 30 days after the return
of the vehicle. The deposit covers additional costs upon return, such as extra kilometers, an empty fuel tank, missing equipment, etc. . If the vehicle is returned undamaged and in accordance with the rental terms, the deposit will be refunded within 15 days (+/- 5 days), depending on the bank’s processing time for the deposit refund.

Where am I allowed to travel (EU, islands, etc.)?

You can travel without any issues to EU countries and/or Croatian islands. Send us an inquiry, and we will provide you with detailed information about travel options and any possible additional costs. .

The Truma heater/water heater is not working for me. Do you offer repairs?

Of course! We are the only authorized service center in Croatia for all appliances installed in campers/motorhomes, and we offer repair services for your campers/
